Signed Cupboard Sideboard from the Interwar Period
We present you this piece of furniture made of oaken wood, and a softwood veneered with oak.
The sideboard is signed with a stamp and address of a workshop from Katowice, and the last name of the manufacturer
(Konrad Jeschoner).
This article of furniture is composed of a two-door base with a wide drawer under the top
and an add-on with a rectangular mirror. Above the drawer, there is a pastry board that can hidden.
The whole is placed on a base with a profiled, prominent cornice. Moreover, the sideboard is supported from the front on
sphere-like, turned legs, and straight, square from the back.
The door panels are ornamented with layered, semi-plastic, wooden appliqués.
Presented piece of furniture has undergone an elaborate renovation. It has been finished in wax.
