Art Deco Psyche Vanity Table

We present you a lady’s vanity table, circa 1920, in birchen veneer.

 Because of the shape of the mirror, it is called Psyche.

The base is made of two cabinets on high legs

  that are connected with a drawer, which is lower in comparison to the cabinets.

Furthermore, the high mirror in an oval frame is suspended on

the spindle between the supports, which makes it possible to

 see the whole figure from different angles.

The only decorations of the simple form of this piece of furniture are intarsias on the fronts of the doors

and fancifully cut shapes of the mirror supports.

Presented vanity has been refreshed and lacquered.
