Antique Card Table from the End of the 19th Century

We present you this table, called card table, that is intended for gaming. When it is folded, it can be used as a console table.

The top of this piece of furniture is covered with burl. The legs are made of walnut wood. 

 Furthermore, the top is supported on four turned legs that are joint together with a pinnacle, and that finish with a quadripod

with volute feet on rolls.

Two parts of the console are connected with hinges, and they open after turning them around the asymmetrically placed axis,

forming a square, padded space for gaming (dimensions: 92 x 92 cm).

There is an interior compartment in the apron section, which is visible only after turning the aprons.

Presented card table has not undergone a renovation. This piece of furniture is in very good condition. The material is cracked at the joints of the board. There are also small

signs of use on the surface of the top.
