20th-Century Scandinavian Secretary Desk

We present you a mahogany secretary desk from the early 20th century.

At the bottom, there is a double-leaf cabinet, a removable panel,

and a narrow drawer under the cornice.

The panel is flush with the rest of the piece of furniture

and hides the inside with shelves. rows of drawers, and a compartment.

The panel is lined with green leather with gilded bordure.

This secretary desk is of a very modest but elegant form.

The only decorative elements are

the beautiful graining of the veneer and a serrated cresting.

Presented piece of furniture has undergone renovation and is finished in shellac.

Only the upper escutcheon is different than the other ones.

Moreover, the leather on the panel is slightly imperfect.
