19th-Century Vanity-Sewing Table-Whatnot
We present you an antique piece of furniture, circa 1880, which can be used as a vanity,
a sewing table, a whatnot, or as a nightstand.
It is composed of a small chest with a liftable desktop.
All is supported on slightly bent legs with a shelf at the half of their height.
The surfaces of the desktop and shelf are inlaid with filleted lines
with floral motifs in the central section.
The brass band around the edges and appliqués on the legs make this piece of furniture
even more decorative.
Furthermore, the inside is divided by three compartments with a mirror
on the inner side of the desktop.
Presented vanity-sewing table-whatnot has been renovated and finished in shellac.
THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in
the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in
vintage and antique items.
The Antique Beauty company issues a CERTIFICATE
OF EXHIBITOR on presented item, which confirms the authenticity,
legal origin, and the approximate date and place of the item manufacture.
