19th-Century Sewing Table
We present you a mahogany sewing table from the second half
of the 19th century.
The apron is rectangular, with a liftable board, a storage compartment,
and two drawers – one narrower and the other one in the shape of a cone,
suspended at the bottom.
The whole is supported on two pairs of rounded
baluster-like legs, joined with a similarly finished stretcher,
which turn into a bipod.
Furthermore, the edge of the board is finished with astragal.
Presented piece of furniture has not undergone renovation but is in very good condition.
There are visible marks of disjointing of the veneer on some sections of the top board.
THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in
the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in
vintage and antique items.
The Antique Beauty company issues a CERTIFICATE
OF EXHIBITOR on presented item, which confirms the authenticity,
legal origin, and the approximate date and place of the item manufacture.
