19th-Century Oriental Cabinet/ Whatnot

We present you a neat Oriental piece of furniture with three shelves, a small cabinet,

 and a small drawer under the top board. All is dated the late 19th century.

The fronts of the doors and drawers are covered with appliqués of ivory and

 mother-of-pearl.

Furthermore, the drawer handles are in the shape of an elephant head.

Presented cabinet/whatnot has not undergone renovation but is in good condition.

 There are small bulges of the veneer on two shelves and a side wall of the cabinet.

THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in

 the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in

vintage and antique items.
