19th-Century French Card Table
We present you a richly carved rosewood card table from Q3 of the 19th century.
The whole is placed on a striking pedestal composed of a square base on legs,
round elements covered with carved patterns, and a bunch of spiral columns.
Two segments connected with hinges make the table top,
which can be opened by rotating it around a joint asymmetrical axis.
The center of the table top is lined with green baize
in the shape of a circle with gilded rim.
Presented card table has not undergone renovation. It is secondarily lacquered.
There are visible scratches on the top.
Moreover, there is a big stain on the baize, and it is damaged in two places.
THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in
the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in
vintage and antique items.
The Antique Beauty company issues a CERTIFICATE
OF EXHIBITOR on presented item, which confirms the authenticity,
legal origin, and the approximate date and place of the item manufacture.
