19th-Century Eclectic Lady’s Desk

We present you this piece of furniture, circa the late 19th century, made of walnut 

wood and burl.

 The rectangular top of the desk is supported on turned legs;

on top, with an add-on unit topped with a crest in the shape of the so-called swan neck.

Furthermore, the legs are connected with a Y-shaped stretcher; with a leg pillow

 upholstered with old velvet in the center.

There are three drawers under the desktop.

Presented desk is in original condition. There are visible stretches and

 chips of French polish on the top.

THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in

 the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in

 vintage and antique items.
