19th-Century Biedermeier Armchair

We present you a mahogany armchair with an upholstered seat.

The whole is dated the 1st half of the 19th century.

This piece of furniture is characterized by the simplicity

 and the lack of details, typical for the Biedermeier style.

The semi-circular backrest turns in the sides; with a wide

horizontal slat in the middle.

Furthermore, the armchair sides are open and supported.

Presented piece of furniture is finished in shellac, with the seat

 covered with new leather.
