19th-Century A.D. Mougin Mantel Clock
We present you this French figurative mantel clock
made of bronzed metal and green onyx.
It was manufactured in the 2nd half of the 19th century.
The mechanism is signed by AD.Mougin Deux Medailles Paris.
(The mark had been in use
until the company won two medals at the World’s Fair.)
Furthermore, the clock face is porcelain and hand-painted.
The mechanism is winded up with a key.
Presented clock is working. It has undergone a horologic service.
