18th-century Louis XVI Parlor Set

This set includes a sofa, two armchairs, fours chairs, a table, and a small table.
The framework is made of polychrome, and gilded with 24-carat gold wood.
 The tops of the tables are marble.
Initially, the style of Louis XVI was called à la grecque. It manifests itself in the antique forms of the set, such as fluted legs that end with rosette inscribed into a square, or ivory plaques in the crests of the backrests depicting antique scenes.
The whole is characterized by the pursuit of the Greco-Roman harmony of shapes and perfect proportions. 
Presented set has undergone professional renovation. The new upholstery has been selected to match the whole coloristically.
This furniture is extremely representative. Surely, it is a great addition to every interior.
