Neo-Baroque Commode
A piece of furniture, circa the end of the 19th century,
in the form of a two-door commode with a marble top.
The fronts of the doors are of concave-convex shape.
The top is made of white marble and has profiled edges.
Both the surfaces of the door and the sides are covered with veneer arranged
into a herringbone pattern, and they are also inlaid with a pattern with a floral motif.
The ends of the legs, corners, central parts of the apron, and the meeting
stile are decorated with layered brass ornamentations.
The inside hides three shelves.
This commode is in very good condition. It is truly a collector’s item.
